945 Nanusha
Pronounced na-noo-sha
Long before Buffalo Grove became the community we know today, the land was home to Indigenous peoples who understood its natural beauty, strength, and sense of place.
They called this land Nanusha — a name connected to the buffalo, a symbol of strength, grace, resilience, and belonging.
Generations later, as we looked to create a new community on this land, we were inspired by that history.
We wanted to build more than a collection of residences. We wanted to create a place that felt connected to its surroundings — a place where people could put down roots, find a sense of belonging, and build what comes next.
945 Nanusha Residences honors where this community began while looking toward where it is going. The name is a tribute to the enduring spirit of the land and the legacy that came before us. It represents the strength to grow, the grace to evolve, and the sense of belonging that makes a place truly feel like home.
